Texol supplied the Biodiesel Pilot Plant to Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Faridabad in July 2009. The unit is used for studying Batch process for the production of Biodiesel from Fatty acids using homogenous catalyst.
The system is designed for temperature up to 200 Deg C and pressures from full vacuum to 2 bar g.
PC-PLC based control system is used to control process parameters like feed charging, product weight, vacuum control & reactor temperature.
