In March 2008, Texol supplied a Coal Combustion Reactor System to Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai.

The facility is meant for combustion reaction on coal at 900 deg C in a fixed bed reactor. The arrangement is made in such a way that the reactor can be placed either horizontal or vertical position. The unit is designed to operate system at atm. Pressure at 1000 deg. C and 50 bar g at 600 deg. C. The unit is completely automated with PLC-based control.
