The plant was supplied to Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited in Feb 2014. Plant consists of Gas feed, two liquid feed systems – one for hydrocarbon feed and second for sulfiding, twin reactors and a common downstream section including a HP separator, a LP separator and a stripper and product collection module. Reactors can be operated either in upflow, downflow or one at a time.
Pressure : 250 bar g and Temperature : 550 0C.
Gas/liquid feed, reactor temperatures and pressure are controlled using PC-PLC based control system from Allen Bradley.
