In March 2009, Texol supplied an Overhead Condenser Corrosion Monitoring System to Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Faridabad. The facility is meant for studying the real time Corrosion Rate, Pitting Factor, CMI Value, B Value (by using Honeywell Corrosion Sensors) in the overhead condenser of Naphtha distillation column.
The system is designed to check performance of inhibitors also. The system design temperature is 300 Deg C and pressure is 4 bar g.
Parameters like gas flow; liquid flow & vaporizer temperature are controlled using a PC-PLC based control system.
