Project: Steam Reforming Unit for Catalyst Evaluation
Client: Naval Material Research Laboratory, Ambernath[horizontal-scrolling group=”GROUP1″]
In November 2007, Texol supplied Steam Reforming Unit for Catalyst Evaluation to Naval Material Research Laboratory, Ambernath. This project was jointly executed along with our associates – Dampf Kolben.
A pilot plant is design to study the reforming reaction of methane/LPG and evaluation of catalyst. This automated reforming pilot plant system is equipped to generate all types of kinetic and reactor process related data which will enable researchers to study various Hydrogen generation catalysts. The operating temperature is 800 Deg C at 35 bar g Pressure. The unit has a PC-PLC based control system.
